Hey everyone. So this week I have been playing around more and more with the Urban Decay Glinda Palette. If you read my review, you may have noticed I wasn't too keen on the palette. While Urban Decay did a great job, I felt the palettes overall colour scheme wasn't for me. But I am always determined to make a palette work for me, so I grabbed my brushes and got working, eventually coming up with this whimsical girly look which to me screams Glinda. I wanted to create something that would do justice to the lady herself and fit in with the theme of the palette. I kept it soft and feminine with no smokey crease or harsh edges.
I hope you enjoy this look! Let me know if you like seeing this softer side of me :)
Products Used: Urban Decay Glinda Palette, Urban Decay Glinda Super saturated lip pencil and eyeshadow Magic as blusher. Benefit High Brow to highlight. MAC lingering eyebrow pencil for brows. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser and Katy Perry falsies
So I hope you enjoyed this look, its just one of the ways you could use the Glinda palette. I really enjoyed patting the gold shade in the middle of my lid - it looked really subtle but still "magical". Also Magic makes the prettiest blusher, its so glowy and feminine. You should definitely try it if you have this palette!
Have you got the Glinda palette? What are your favourite looks with it?

Thanks Evelyn :)
DeleteI have been lusting over this palette but decided the main attraction was the cuteness of the packaging, then I looked at swatches and thought the shadows look gorgeous and now that I've seen this, I want it more! But I don't think I can justify spending that much on something I will barely use!
ReplyDeleteThe look you have created is sooo pretty :) xx
Aww its a shame you don't think you will use it. Like you I initially didn't think the colours are very me, but I've been finding more ways to use it throughout the week :)
DeleteAll your pictures are gone! Photobucket died apparently. Maybe re host them on imgur? I'd love to see it >.<
ReplyDeleteHi Audrey, sorry about that :( I have a little disclaimer on my side bar... everything should be back to normal on the 10th, just some bandwidth issues with photobucket! :(
DeleteI love how you used these eye shadows and am gonna try to do this look tomorrow. Could you please do more eye tutorials using this palette?
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
Thanks Bridgette, thats amazing! I'd love to see your recreation! I will definitely look into doing another look with this palette for you :)
